The registration fee for participants includes:

Payment of registration fees

Registration fees can be paid either by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only!) or bank transfer. Travel grants

A very limited number of travel grants will be available to young investigators (< 40 years of age) from low income countries who are first author and presenter of one or more abstracts submitted for the ISID-NTD meeting. Grants will be awarded to eligible individuals based on review of submitted abstract(s). The travel grants will provide for registration, airfare and two nights hotel accommodation during the meeting or some combination thereof.

Cancellation of registrations

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the ISID conference manager ( A full refund less a US $60.00 administrative fee will be granted for cancellations of registrations on/before June 4, , 2011. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after June 4, 2011. It is possible to replace a cancelled participant with another person.


Registration hours

The registration and information desk at the Boston Marriott Cambridge will be open on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 2.00pm to 7.30pm, and on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 during conference hours.


The International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conferences or during all tours. It is, therefore, recommended that participants arrange for their own personal health, accident, and travel insurance.

The International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) acts as agent only and cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property whatever the cause may be. The liability of persons or enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected. Only written arrangements are binding. Sole venue is Boston, MA, USA.
